What is it?

Northwood University President's Circle of Young Alumni

Northwood University’s President’s Circle of Young Alumni is an honor awarded to outstanding graduating students in recognition of their contribution to student life and achievement, as well as their future role as young alumni leaders. Students become members of the President’s Circle at the invitation of the President of Northwood, following a nomination by a faculty or staff member.

The role of young alumni leaders

Members of the President’s Circle of Young Alumni are tasked with keeping the spirit of their class alive after graduation. They are asked to participate in two annual “Circle of Young Alumni” events and in addition will receive special communication from the president several times each year. Members will also be encouraged to support and participate in the Northwood Alumni Network events and activities as they are considered great role models for the university.

Criteria for consideration

Students must be a graduating senior and must have demonstrated a contribution to at least two facets of student life at Northwood (i.e. academics, athletics, student activities, volunteering in the community, residence life). Nominators must submit a nomination that outlines those contributions.

Nomination deadline: Friday, April 8, 2022

How to nominate a deserving student

If you are a faculty or staff member at Northwood University and would like to nominate a senior student for appointment to the President’s Circle, please complete the nomination form by April 8.
